How to create a standard tariff

+

The charging stations at the site you manage will be linked to a tariff group. This tariff group will contain multiple tariffs with certain restrictions, meaning the charging prices you set will only be available to specific user groups.

Normally, only two tariffs are needed. The first is a base tariff, which means charging is not allowed. The purpose of this is to ensure that no one can charge without proper access. The second tariff is for residents, and this one has restrictions based on a subscription that users must activate themselves.

Tariffs can be set up in many different ways. Here we will look at a standard tariff, commonly used as a fixed-price tariff.

How to create a standard tariff

After clicking Tariffs under Product Offerings on the left side of the screen, select Create Tariff

In the next view, give the tariff a name and describe what it includes. In this example, we have created a guest price. The tariff is given a descriptive name and an explanation of the price users will pay. We recommend naming the tariff with the housing company name first.

Next, choose Pricing. Set Type to Standard. Tick Energy Fee to enable the option to set a price per kWh. This price is what users will pay for charging, entered in NOK. You will also find a minimum price (min. price) and a reservation amount (Pre-authorize amount), which may both be set to 0.

The next step is to set restrictions. If none are added, the tariff will be visible to all users in the Charge365 app. Here you select the subscription (Subscription plans) assigned to those who should have access — in this case, guests.

Then select Create Tariff, and the tariff will be saved.

For the tariff to apply to the charging stations, you must add it to the tariff group.

Go to Tariff groups, click on your tariff group, and select Attach Tariff. Search for the tariff you just created and confirm by pressing Attach Tariff once more.

You can find more information in the article "What is a tariff group?"

How do I contact sales in Wattif?

+

If you are considering using Wattif as the operating provider for EV charging—whether you already have a charging system or want to establish a new one—our sales team can help you find the right solution.

For housing cooperatives, condominiums, and commercial buildings

If you represent a housing cooperative, condominium, commercial property, or another professional entity and would like an offer from Wattif, you can use our sales contact form:
https://wattifev.com/no/kontakt-oss-tilbud/

This form should be used whether you:

· already have a charging system and want Wattif to take over operation, payment solution, and support.
· are planning to establish a new charging system or upgrade an existing one with chargers, operation, payment solution, and support.

Once you have submitted your request, the sales team will contact you. You will then receive a concrete offer tailored to your facility.

For residents

If you are a resident in a housing cooperative or condominium that already has an operational agreement with Wattif, you can easily order a charger with installation here:
https://wattifev.com/no/borettslag-sok/

If you are unsure whether your housing cooperative or condominium has an agreement with Wattif, you can still search for it using the link above. If your cooperative does not have an active agreement with us, we recommend contacting your board. If the board is interested in an agreement, we are happy to talk with them to start the process.

When should I contact support?

If you have questions about using the charging system, the app, or invoices, we ask that you contact support, which is available 24/7.

You should contact support if, for example, you:

· have trouble starting or stopping a charging session.
· experience a technical fault with a charger.
· have questions about invoices, payments, or your user account.
· need help getting started with the app.

How do I order an EV charger?

+

If you live in a housing cooperative or condominium that has an operating agreement with Wattif, it is easy to order an additional charger through our ordering portal.

For housing cooperatives and condominiums

If you are a board chair, property owner, or otherwise responsible for a building, chargers are primarily ordered as part of a complete solution. If you plan to expand an existing setup or replace current chargers, the best approach is to contact our sales team so we can assess your needs.

You start the process by filling out the offer request form on our website here:
https://wattifev.com/no/kontakt-oss-tilbud/

Once the form has been submitted, someone from our sales team will contact you to clarify details before you receive a non-binding offer.

The actual order for chargers will then be placed as part of the agreement you enter into with Wattif. When the agreement is in place, we coordinate with the installer and ensure that ordering, installation, and configuration in our systems are carried out in a structured manner.

For residents

If you are a resident in a housing cooperative or condominium with a Wattif operating agreement, you can order directly through our ordering portal. Here, you can search for your housing cooperative or condominium and easily order a charger for your parking space. You can place your order via our ordering portal here:
https://wattifev.com/no/borettslag-sok/

The ordering portal will guide you through the steps and provide information about the process, delivery time, and the type of charger or solution offered where you live. Once your order has been submitted, we coordinate with an approved electrician who completes the installation.

My charger is defective – who should I contact?

+

If you are experiencing issues with your charger, the next steps depend on who is responsible for the product and whether it is still within the warranty period. Below you will find an overview of who to contact in different situations.

1. The charger was purchased from Wattif EV
If you bought the charger directly from Wattif EV, we recommend contacting us for troubleshooting if this has not already been done. If the charger is still under warranty, Wattif EV will handle further follow-up.

2. The charger was purchased from another supplier (for example an electrician)
If the charger was bought from an external supplier, electrician or third-party reseller, they are normally responsible for troubleshooting and warranty. If the charger is still powered, shows error codes or can be accessed remotely, you may still contact Wattif EV first for guidance and initial diagnostics.

3. Not sure where the fault is?
If it is unclear whether the issue is caused by the charger itself, the installation or other equipment, the supplier or installer can contact Wattif EV for technical assistance. We recommend doing this before any on-site visit to avoid unnecessary waiting time and costs.

Activate and deactivate chargers

+

If you want to deactivate a charger that is not being used or is going out of service, you can do the following:

Open the charger in the app and tap Edit in the top right corner. Scroll down until you find the Status field, and change it from Enabled to Disabled. Then tap Update Charge Point to save the change.

Invite and remove users

+

Invite users

Go to Invites in the left-hand menu and click Create Invite

Enter the email address of the user to be invited and check Private access before clicking Create Invite

If you want to add multiple users at once, under Invites select Actions and then Create Bulk Partner Invites. Here, you can add multiple email addresses, one per line, in the emails field.

Select Private access and click Run Action

Remove users

If a resident moves out or no longer should have access to the charging site, follow these steps to remove the user:

Go to Invites on the left-hand menu and click the trash can icon on the row for the user to be removed.

If the user is also part of a user group (User Group), do the same there to remove them from the group.

The user must deactivate any active subscriptions themselves.

How do I change the charging price?

+

To change the price, select Tariffs on the left-hand menu and click the edit button after selecting the tariff you want to change.

The image below shows the edit button:

When editing the tariff, select Pricing and simply change the number under Fee per kWh. The amount is entered in NOK, including VAT.

Example: The charging price is 2 NOK. Enter 2 to set the correct price. If you want to include øre in the price, write the kroner amount followed by a comma and the øre amount (example: 2,35 NOK).

If you want to switch to a spot price tariff, see the article “What is spot price and how do I create them?”

Personal charger and autostart

+

It is possible to assign a charger to a single owner. If enabled, only this user can charge using their account or registered RFID tag.

Setup

Edit the charge point you want to set as personal. Choose Charge point type: Personal (home) and save the change.

When saved, click the three dots on the right and select Change owner.

Enter the email address of the user who should have access to the charger. The user must be registered in the app to be added. Standard invitation rules to the housing company (partner invite) still apply and must be completed before an owner can be assigned.

To remove an owner, follow the same procedure, but save the change without entering a user.

Autostart

To enable autostart, the charger must first be assigned to a user. Once the user has access, they can disable authentication directly in the app.

Steps:

  1. Tap the settings icon
  1. Select "Authentication"
  1. Set authentication to "not required"Â
